In short

NovyDeco creates no account, runs no server and sends no personal data to the publisher. Your plans, settings and logbook are stored on your device only.

Data stored on the device

The app stores locally your settings (gradient factors, ppO₂, units, theme), your plans and your logbook (trips, dives, buddies, equipment, imported profiles). This data leaves the device only when you export it yourself (file or PDF). Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Subscription

The free trial and the yearly subscription are handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and provides receipts; NovyDeco receives neither your identity nor your payment details, only the subscription state (active or not). The install date is kept on the device to compute the trial period.

Bluetooth and location

Importing from a dive computer uses Bluetooth. On Android, scanning for Bluetooth devices may require the location permission: NovyDeco does not read, store or transmit any position. Data read from the computer (profiles, dates, temperatures) is saved in the local logbook.

Network access

NovyDeco does not request the Internet permission. No analytics or tracking tool is embedded in the app.

This website

This site is static and sets no tracking cookie. Your language choice may be remembered in your browser's local storage, without any transmission.
